How Stellar Designs Started
Stellar Designs didn’t start with a business plan. It started with paying attention.
In March of 2025, at the Lineman Rodeo in Winter Garden, I stopped at a booth selling hats and asked how business was going. The answer was simple. Great. Because just about everyone wears a hat. That stuck.
Not just at the rodeo. Everywhere. Job sites. Ballfields. Around town. People wear hats every day without thinking twice. But when I got home and started looking at what was actually out there, most of it felt the same.
Rushed. Generic. Built to look good for a moment, not built to last. That didn’t sit right. So in April of 2025, my wife and I started Stellar Designs.
The goal was simple. Take something people already wear every day and do it the right way. Clean designs. Quality materials. Custom hats that hold up and actually represent the name on them.
No shortcuts. Just solid hats built for real use.
Most Hats Aren’t Built to Last
Walk into just about any shop or scroll online and you’ll see the same thing. Hats that look decent at first glance. But don’t hold up.
Cheap materials. Weak construction. Designs that feel rushed and forgettable. They’re made to sell fast. Not to last.
For businesses, it’s worse. You end up with custom hats that don’t actually represent your company the way they should.
Logos fade. Materials break down. Everything starts looking worn out way too soon. That’s not a good look.
A hat isn’t just something you throw on. It’s something people wear every day. On job sites. Around town. In front of customers.
If it’s going to carry your name, it should hold up like it matters.
Because it does.
